Join Dan Ellis, Wayne Thibaudeau & guest Peter Savio as they share future plans for the Paia Sugar Mill.

The Pa‘ia Village Company, established in August 2020, is committed to transforming the historic Pa‘ia Sugar Mill into a state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing village. The idea to purchase the Pa‘ia Mill and restore it to a manufacturing center was the brainchild of Dan Ellis, Managing Partner of Pa‘ia Village Company. He pointed out, “Our vision is to support livable wages and revive community spirit, continuing the sugar mill’s 150-year legacy of responsible industry.”

Peter B. Savio is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Savio Group of Companies, including Savio Realty Ltd, Savio Asset Management LLC, and Savio Developments Ltd. Born in Hilo but raised on Oahu, Peter has more than 60 years of experience in real estate development and sales in the Hawaii market. Savio has centered much of his career on affordable housing and agriculture projects within the state.
